"Responding to July's triple murder and arson in Cheshire, Gov. M. Jodi Rell appointed a 20-member task force Friday to review virtually all aspects of the state's criminal justice system. In a "top-to-bottom assessment," Rell is asking the task force to review all facets of charging, sentencing and releasing criminals in the state."
"Some of the most prominent members of the state's criminal justice community will serve, including Chief State's Attorney Kevin Kane, Public Safety Commissioner John Danaher, Correction Commissioner Theresa Lantz and Board of Pardons and Paroles Chairman Robert Farr."
