Congressional Witch Hunt Against Republicans?

Round 1: The Election for Congress.....

Say what you would like about Christopher Shays politically, he's not what the House Democrats are making him sound out to be. First and foremost he is bipartisan as a politician comes in New England. He was the only Republican that won reelection in Congress in New England for a reason. He cares for the people in his district and does what he feels is right. Remember, Joseph Lieberman. CT doesn't care very much for polarizing figures.

Isn't it ironic that the day after the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman, Congressman Van Hollen visits and campaigns with Jim Himes that this story has come out. I guess if you can't beat a candidate one on one you have to bring out the "Negative Tactics." Care of The Hartford Courant, Congressman Shays feels the Democrats are misusing their powers.

"They're not subpoenaing records from the Democratic Party," Shays said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press. "They're not going back and looking at what might have happened under Bill Clinton." The Hartford Courant

And to think that just in the first year that Democrats have control of Congress they don't remember their very own past. I hope the Democrats don't get caught preaching and practicing at the same time. That couldn't help their approval rating or could it?
